will this work in my system?
Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 [newegg.com] AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Processor, Black Edition [amazon.com] Antec Earthwatts EA650 650W [jonnyguru.com] CORSAIR XMS3 8GB (4 x 2GB) 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM DDR3 1600 [newegg.com] SAMSUNG 830 Series 128gb SSD [newegg.com] I'm currently usinf a HD5770. will this be night and day difference or is anything else in my system the bottleneck? |

I bought this card from NCIX and if all goes well with the MIR, I will have spent $150 on it. Great deal, imo. |

But if you enter the code into the AMD website, it will just send you an email telling you that they will send you steam codes when Steam enables the games. So I guess you could either sell the AMD code or possibly enter the info yourself and sell the Steam codes when they come out (possibly separately, but I'm just guessing). |

6 tiers on the Tom's gpu hierarchy chart. http://www.tomshardware.com/revie...107-7.html |

So SLI not always better?

They didn't have a Tahiti 7870 listed so I'm assuming the one they are comparing is a Pitcairn 7870, which still is significantly faster than your 5770. |

I stripped my PC to bare min needed to run on a 660 TI and still needed more than the MIN PSU. (bare min in the sense of what components were pulling power)
So as mentioned below the post, don't try to get by on the bare min with PSU on a graphics card like this. |
