For everyone asking about the expiring points, you don't have to use the points on the rewards on the sony rewards site.

You can actually use them also on the Sony Online Store: http://store.sony.com/ to essentially get any of their items with a discount (basically 100 points = $1 off). Some of their items are either decently priced or overly priced. Just have to search.

I ended up using 1600 of my points on this for my gf's PS3:

The stand for the new slim PS3's seem to not be available in many retailers except Gamestop and Best Buy.

A few weeks ago it had free shipping. It seems they've changed it to only apply for any order $25+
