" If you return a device without all components included in the original shipment, or if you deactivate your service with your carrier without returning your mobile device, you will be charged a $500 fee."
I called Best Buy Mobile Solutions and spoke to three different reps yesterday and asked when this applied and could not get a straight answer. Last edited by vivio; 02-16-2013 at 05:55 AM.. |

Is this in addition to the $50 gift card we'd receive if we signed up for that special? If so, then the phone is merely $100 which is pretty sweet. Also, what's the turn around time on the reward delivery. Does anyone know?

I just called Best Buy Mobile solutions again and spoke with a rep who spoke with 2 of her supervisors and they could not give me an answer. She said it was due to legalities and that I would have to email corporate to get an answer. Since I fully intend to break my contract and move the phone to my value plan after 15 days, this is a question I would need answered. I spoke with someone at a Best Buy store yesterday and they said they would price match the $200 but could not do the 2500 rewards points. I think I will go this route since the rep at Best Buy Mobile Solutions also said that the points would be deducted if I did not keep the phone for 30 days.

I'm wondering if I could upgrade this phone for $200 then migrate it to the value plan (which technically isn't cancelling the service) for a total of $200 for the migration fees. That means the phone is technically paid off since the classic plan is paying off the subsidized price of the phone which in this case is $200 + the $200 for the migration fee over to the value plan = $400 Samsung Note 2?
Also T-Mobile is doing a promotion where this month and next month. AAL (Add a line) is only $5 on the classic plans and free on the value plan up until January 2014. So this could be your ticket to upgrade if that's the case. I only know this because my job has been forcing me to call out to customers to inform them of this AAL promotion. I currently pay $20 for 5gb unlimited data. I've had it grandfathered in ever since I had a sidekick way back in the day. Any way to keep it? I got excited, 'til I saw that this offer is not valid in-store. I have $175 in RZ certs/christmas gift cards I would have loved to burn on this.
