Do a price breakdown genius, the 256gb SSD alone is $250 and the cpu is $300.

It will probably cost you more building this yourself (if you buy a legit copy of windows vs using a hacked version).

Alienware is for hardcore gamers, XPS is more for "professional" use and casual gaming.

Their Alienwares coming standard with liquid cooling and dual gfx card slots and power supplies to support beefed up configs. They also usually use unlocked multiplier CPU's so you can OC out of the box.

SlvrFox. I wrote in another 8500 posting saying that I looked thru the inventory (numerous times over the last few days) looking for this particular item and never saw it - under the 8500's for sale. I found that strange along with the coupon itself (exact price). At least I get some explaination of this, thanks.

In past Exact Price "Outlet Hot Deals", they sometimes get the ads out before the inventory or it is extremely slow to begin with, but speeds up as time goes on.
