Can someone explain why it is thumbs down. I've been looking for a 18-300 and it's still $999 at Amazon and B&H, I thought 30% off was a great deal. Should I hold out and wait for it to go cheaper somewhere else?

Yep this is an instant rebate that all retailers will be running starting tomorrow (technically in about 10 minutes). Nikon's running it due to the tanking camera market (and the falling yen).
The 1.8G prime trinity is also on sale ($20 off the 50mm and $100 off the 85mm and 28mm). |
