I'm seriously SOOOOOO pissed right now. Here I am with about 270 firefox tabs open and I'm clicking on each tab I haven't used in the past couple of weeks then all of a sudden I see this thread and I'm thinking: "Hmmmm, didn't I purchase like 4 of these tablets". I had totally forgotten that I bought these (I buy way too many things). I start going through my emails, and NOPE, no confirmation that this item has arrived at my local store for the past couple of days. What the hell, does Walmart not tell you when your item has arrived?
I'm going to pickup my tablets right after I punt a midget.
Remember to share the love! Give Reps to both the OP and the deal.![]() |

1 data point:
I ordered the same day as the deal was known (Feb 17). I also signed up for the text-message notification. After payment online, I received a text almost immediately stating that my order went through, and they will text me when the order is ready for pick up. Several hours later (or maybe it was a day later), I received an email confirmation. Several days later (Feb 22), I received an email stating my order was ready for pickup. I did not receive any text messages... I picked it up a few days ago and played with it. Its heavy, isn't as solid as my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7, but snappier. Battery was at least 50% when I started it up and updated it. It charged quickly to 100% within a few hours. The unit looks perfectly new. Not a scratch or anything. The GPS is working. The unit came in a plain brown box with the ACER logo on it and a white label stating model number, etc. The unit comes with no instructions and 2 cables - charge and micro-usb (for data). Note that the return policy stated to me at pick-up is 15 days! (Not the 90 days someone else mentioned). This may be a different rule for refurbs? Not sure. I will continue to test my unit out with the software I want to use (mainly watching videos and interfacing with my DSLR). If I'm not happy with it, I'll return it next week. |

Got my case yesterday (says it's made for the A200, obviously not a problem with the A210) from Amazon. Combined with the wireless Logitech keyboard w/ trackpad I bought from Staples a few months back for $15, I actually said out loud 'what is the point of having a laptop?'
