The sign in-store saying per promotion appears to be incorrect.

Handed in coupon to enter the sku 866957 for multipurpose paper to an experienced cashier. It took her 2 minutes to read the whole coupon terms and keyed in some numbers. I kept asking,did you enter it as a sku and she said I did,I am trying,let's see what happens - I knew it,rebate won't be triggered and exactly that's what happened. Geez...one of these days I need to step inside the register to finish the transaction. Had the Manager did a return,but she did only on the paper,not the entire transaction. I ended up loosing 92 cents of MM as it did not refund a part of 5 off 25 on original purchase.

I am literally sick and tired on this entering sku to trigger rebate PITA procedure. Oh well, I needed to release my frustration.

Point is very clear,she did not enter the sku even though she says she did. Frustrating part is,even after reading the whole damn thing,they can't get it right. Same thing happened to me on the Pastel rebates as well.

Purchased the photo paper, pencils, and FAR multipurpose paper and all rebates printed out fine.
I wrote on the coupon to make sure they entered the SKU # and she knew exactly what she was doing and did it correctly.

There was a $25 coupon off one case of paper in the coupon wallet yesterday, which is the same item that's BOGO on the front page of this weeks ad (item #513096). That brought the price down to $25 for two cases. Subtract $5 more for an Office Max Coupon with a SER filler and it came to $10 per case. Not as good as the free paper deals, but a good way to cash out some rewards and make a little profit if you have a regular buyer for paper. Plus, the coupon could be used over and over. The only problem is the coupon is missing from the coupon wallet today and I didn't copy or print more. I don't remember the expiration date but the coupon worked today. Maybe Staples pulled it so it couldn't be combined with the sale. Anybody have a copy of this coupon?

Are you talking about coupon 83410? You can check that in the bottom of your receipt... Attached the general coupon for that.. I guess it will have 2 days grace period..

Yeah, 83410 is the code on the receipt. I didn't notice that it had expired on the 16th. Anyway, it worked today--twice, so you must be right about the grace period. Sure wish I would have printed a bunch more to take to the store today and cashed out the rest of the rewards and GC.
