I bought One because of the glowing reviews and then never played it. Not sure if it's worth another $20 to get One's DLC and Two. Any opinions on how good Two is?

One of the few games I love enough to keep. I am tempted to buy this so I have them on the same system...absolutely agree that 1 is one of the greatest games of all time...but I feel the same way about 2 as well. Certainly not a backlog game...push it to the front!

I enjoyed it just as much. Was a bit more challenging IMHO. Also, being able to use a weapon and plasmid without switching back and forth was SUPER nice.

I couldn't agree more. The story wasn't as well crafted as the original but being able to play as a big daddy and having better gameplay made up for the less than perfect story. Any reason to explore more of Rapture was OK with me!

Any chance the PS3 version will drop even lower in the future? I have such a huge backlog I can wait.

You can always count on games like this going on sale again in the future. If your backlog is that intense, I wouldn't worry about it too much. However, people are not exaggerating when they say to stop what are you doing, and play the first game. If you are looking for an extremely well thought out story, combined with good game mechanics, there are few games that compete.

I had ALL of my games stolen a while back and am rebuilding my library. Great to see this go on sale since I was 80% through the story in the first one.

I feel obligated to note Bioshock 2 was really boring. It's more Bioshock but it doesn't progress the story or anything and it's poorly written. The action and little sister stuff gets really old fast and they actually recycle enemies towards the ends when it's obvious they're running out of ideas. The amusing subplots and analysis of post Rand libertarianism in the original is replaced by a empty nonsense story about a Puritan taking over rapture for the purpose of being idk mean I guess. Bioshock 2 was Developed by Marine 2k7 a studio responible for mappacks and DLC on direction of 2K with no involvement of the original studio. Off Topic but also the PC version was a nightmare to play as well.
