Really need one. I think my current battery charger doesnt work right; I find my keyboard constantly dying even after I just replaced the battery with a fully charged one.

Is there any way to sign up for email alerts when an item drops below a certain price?

funny I bought this last year in march for exactly $27.22 nobody gave 2 shits then.. now its a big deal its now $30 + tax..

It was less than $25 not too long ago last year.

I've had my BC-900 for over 8 years. Still works perfectly. I suspect people who melted theirs were using it at 1000mah, which is bad for batteries anyways. I only used that high of current once or twice to try it.

I can vouch that this line of chargers work well, last forever (at least mine has), and gets the best life out of both regular nimh's and Eneloops.

To get email alerts on price drops, just set up an account at camelcamelcamel-dot-com and add an item to your price watch list. It's easy and intuitive...you'll figure it out.

I actually had a 3camel price watch on this item set @ $30 and received an email from them exactly 12 minutes before my sd deal alert went off triggered by this thread. I already had the La Crosse charger in my Amazon "save for later" cart (added in months ago) and simply moved it to my "purchase" cart and bought it. It's an awesome system!

This is the firs time I'm hearing about this website. I'll have to look into it.

Yeah I bought this for cheaper, but I have to say that it's well worth more than I paid for it. If you need a decent charger, look no further. The only improvement I would like to see is displays that glow slightly so you can see the charge level in the dark.

Back-lit would be nice and sometimes when you're trying to change the different modes while adding batteries it can get cornfused at times.

i pulled the trigger out of desperation then @ 27 i remember because i had a bunch of eneloops and nothing to charge them with. so bought it in march tax free then 5 months later came up under 25 I had ditched the deal alert as I already got one, and was like oh wellllll but im glad i got it for what i paid. was about to buy another one but then questioned the whole tax thing and being more...

Love mine...... Just buy only ENELOOP rechargeables.....only batteries worth it.

I had one but it fell off a table onto a carpeted floor and has never worked since, kind of fragile. Never needed any of the extra features, had to fiddle with the buttons to set each compartment to the charge I wanted every time, the long separate charger & cord were a pain and part of the reason for it to fall.Now I like my compact Sony smart charger that I replaced it with more.

I just want to add that along with the eneloop's, the amazon basic batteries have also performed very well for me and can sometimes be had a decent price.

The energizers I first starting buying from the local stores are by far the worst I have used.
