This guy has tons of videos on pros/cons and demos of all of the juicers.

Counting the Kohl's cash probably.

Got our 8006 during one of the holiday deals around $200. Still use it 3-5 times a week. Amazing juice, easy to clean, blah blah there are a million threads on these things and they are all extremely high quality. The juice is so good (even when loaded with kale/spinach) that on weekends I often have it for both breakfast and lunch.

Now if only there were a juicer that could keep beets from tasting like dirt =p Blech.
Try this using half a beet. I think you'll like it! http://healthyblenderrecipes.com/...ing_juice/ It's only 4 ingredients but you could add a little more green like celery or kale plus some lemon if you wanted.

Which one you suggest among omega 8006, omega 8004J, VRT 330
go for the 8006j if you plan on juicing greens. I have the 330vft and although it is a good juicer it gets clogged very quickly. My friend has the 8006j and it handles it much better but does take up a little more counter space. Hope that helps!

Has anybody ever tried putting whole coffee beans into a juicer? Would you get like an incredibly strong coffee syrup?

Thanks for the recipe. I hadn't thought about using green apples to help hide it. Ginger, lemon, pineapple, and all the usual stuff can't seem to mask it, but maybe some Granny Smith action would help. Normally I just plug and chug the beet juice down =p

Putting coffee beans into the 8006 will actually grind your coffee for you. Turns it into perfect consistency, kind of like a Burr grinder. I still use my actual grinder, but if you're in a pinch...

The 8006 also makes nut butter, sorbets, pasta, baby food, coconut cream, and so on. I'm not sure that it makes any of those things better than a product specifically designed for the task, but it's nice that it brings a bit of versatility to the counter space it takes up.

Not to turn this into a juicing recipe thread, but I use 1-2 large cucumbers with everything I make and it seems to smooth out some of the harsher tasting things like Kale/Parsley/Beets/Dandelion. Add a couple apples and some carrots to sweeten and I even get my 3 and 5 yr old kids drinking whole cups.

As for this thread, I got the 8006 last time it was FP and love it. Much better than my old centrifugal in every aspect.

In the last deal, macy's sent a $15 off coupon to new accounts. Anyone checked to see if they still do that?
That would make it $188-$15=$173

Also, anyone check to see if they will refund the difference from recently purchased ones on the recent 40% off sale on the juicer?

I do not know about the other models, but the VRT330 is not machine-wasable and is a pain to clean.

Hmmm....Can't use the $15 off coupon for signing up with a new account on this deal.

They do instantly give you the coupon but it's not working on this deal.

There are a decent amount of reviews on Amazon about the 8006 where plastic shavings have the potential of getting into your juice. Has anyone experienced this?
