It works a thousand times better, but they are two different types of items. One blends, one extracts everything into a smooth texture. It can handle nuts and seeds and make pretty much anything you throw at it smooth and drinkable. It's one of the few things I've actually stuck with, since it's not a pain in the arse at all to clean.

Exactly. I cannot speak to the Magic Bullet but the NutriBullet completely liquifies almost anything you put in it.

Product like these dont make you healthy or loose weight. Its what you eat that makes the difference, whether liquify or not. Its what you put inside the machine. Why not eat it directly rather than getting ripped by a manufacturer from China?!

You want to eat 3 handfuls of spinach or kale, you go ahead. I prefer to mask the veggie flavor with fruits in a tasty juice.

Eating almonds , then a banana, then an Apple , then milk and few baby carrots TO ME is not the same as blending all together to make a breakfast smoothie...

Oh and I suppose instead of strawberry ice cream one can chew into frozen strawberries , then follow it up by drinking a spoonful of condensed milk and a cup of half and half. Why blend when everything can be consumed directly. Only if enough people saw the wisdom!

1/2 apple
some "kale" handfull
a little mellon
1/4 beet
5 baby carrots
1/2 orange
and some milled chia seed soaked in water for 5 minutes before nutibulletting it

I even give some to my dog

If you have say, kidney trouble, getting your nutrients to absorb (especially for a first meal when you most need) is not an easy or fun task.

Emulsifying certain nutrients together can help immensely with absorption, it has nothing to do with being too lazy to chew a giant salad first thing in the morning, which if that makes me lazy so be it, but that sounds punishing...my insides would rebel. But having the nutrients actually absorb in my body first thing, well this has effects like night and day compared to waiting til I'm up for trying to piece it all together. Add to that mix people can have freshly ground flax, fresh ginger and turmeric, coconut oil, apple cider vinegar etc. without it being overpowering (or even detectable to the tongue). Turmeric doesn't even stain the cup, amazingly.

No one's saying eat these 3x a day. People who have the unit aren't feeling ripped off...if that was the case, it'd just be another purchase they regret that sits in the basement unused, and complaints all over the internet. There are plenty of items out there that qualify as "junk from China", yet that's not what we hear from people who own this one. It's on par with a Vitamix, in a smaller, cheaper, easier to clean body.

Not too many healthy people here i guess, Great deal. Bought it for $99 at Walmart, then bought a 2nd at BedBath and Beyond for $99 - 20% coupon.

best bet is the purchase at bed bath and beyond, you don't have to wait if it needs servicing just bring it right back to them at the store
