I picked one up in Strongsville ohio. Had $499 price but I asked them to scan it. $299 Out the door in 3 minutes. Plus 5% off if you use a check.

Of the two I got, one had dead pixels all over it. Haven't opened the other yet. Taking one back tonight and will open the other tonight too.

I wasn't happy with the audio either. Was really weak compared to the Vizio I WAS going to replace. I may just return them both. And as someone else the said the remote control for this TV is junk. Better off scrapping it.

I think this whole thread is funny as hell. to think people are raving about a $30, 3 year warranty because of a product they are buying which they are betting on and thus believing will break down before that time is just beautiful. I on the other hand have no such time for games and as much of a slickdealer as I am at times would gladly wait things out for a better deal.

I don't think anyone is raving about a warranty price, I've bought the best brands tv and apex And everything in life is hit or miss just better to have a warranty through target then calling a manufacture. Anyhow the tv looks great to me probably bigger then I thought it would be for my apartment, but it starting to fit in.

Oh dude your killing me... haven't had time to open mine yet and won't take much to exceed my expectations now as they are pretty low! lol

Hopefully my DirecTV remote will "learn" the functions of this TV so the remote being junk is not an issue - I am worried about sound though - will have to check if a simple solution like extra independently powered PC speakers can be hooked up or if I just bag it and take it back.

How is the picture on this TV? Thanks again!

To many complaints picture is HD Quality and bypass anything on this caliber and price. My remote works fine. Audio is good for an LED t.v i have never even seen an LED tv that really has great audio because they have no room for good speakers, but they work for me.

Taking both TV's back tonight. Other one had 2 dead pixels. The picture is fine besides the dead pixels. If I paid $150 I wouldn't care for the dead pixels but double that and I'm taking them back.

Maybe, they'll mark them down even more for me since they're defective.....

After closer inspection I found 4 dead pixels on my tv as well. Although I don't think its a deal killer. I figure this way I can use the target warranty and just return it at time with a valid reason if I see something better.

does anyone know the recommended picture settings for the best quality?

Great idea...wait until they don't have anymore and get a comparable replacement.
