An i7 8500 deal has popped up among all this for $699 - how long is it good for, I really do not know.

Yup. Lenovo has them too. Of course, I don't know which one will be $250, but the 2GB model is a good guess.

Maybe, but I am not banking on it."Advertised" sales on most sites or in most stored just aren't worth it anymore. Better deals can usually be found on SD throughout the year.

It's not even a 660. A 660s is slimline. Half height video card, etc. Not a deal.
