A lot of people that use Groupon are not super tech savvy. They might think that $55 for a 500gb hard drive is a good deal, but it's really not. And if they'd bothered to read the product description, you're only given a 6 month warranty.

I'd rather get a NEW hard drive with at least a 1 year warranty. Even the Elements 1tb 3.0 drive from Tiger Direct for $40 AR is a better deal than this.

You want to trust your data (important or backup) on a refurbished drive, especially when you have no idea what was wrong with it initially?

please dont insult Groupon users like myself, saying you are smart and um 740 people are dumb.....if you looked at the mac drives you would not insult them, unless perhaps you are not too tech savvy for not seeing the mac drive are selling for about half price
