i agree with everyone on this thread. great game and well worth 50 or even the full 60 bucks. its been a while since i seen a true overworld. this game is a lot of fun. i also grew up playin ff6, breath of fire, etc. probably the best rpg i had the chance to play since ff12 or kh2.

I know it sucks (since it is on the Wii) but get Xenoblade. I guess it might be hard now since it's selling used for over $100 on Ebay, but it is amazing. Gamestop even raised their used price to $60. (That's $10 more than the MSRP was for new)

the japanese version is around $50 as well. $52.90 disc. $51.7 download (from Japan PSN store).

For every amazing game there will always be those people that says Half-Life 2, or the Ocarina of Time sucks. Good thing there's thousands of games to make us all happy.

The most important bit. If you haven't been watching with this reviewer since 2007-2008, you would have never known that he's an pessimistic, artsy, Valve-fanboy loving, JRPG/Fighting genre hating, childhood / nostalgia ruining, very lackless self-challenging, hyper-critical-to-story, British man with a supposed terrible past and be converted by the fact that everything he says is true.

But once you do know his quality and character and/or look back to his old videos of him noting the things he hates, you can safely watch it for entertainment of him bashing video games knowing you shouldn't take it too seriously.

For anyone who has or bought this game and has Playstation Plus the DLC for a free summon named Draggle is available this month as of the 12th. You need to be a few hours into the game before you can cash in and get your DLC content.

Actually the draggle familiar dlc is free for everyone, it is not exclusive to playstation plus subscribers.

Final Fantasy VI was the greatest entertainment experience of my life time and I single handedly credit it for advancing my vocabulary and overall maturity level far beyond my preteen years at the time of its release. Oh goodness I hope there's an hd or 3ds/iOS remake coming..

Will wait until it hits GOTY for $20! Give it several more months!

I know. I play a lot of RPGs, so I have a short fuse for crap, and despite overall good production value, NNK borders on crap. I have no idea why people haven't mentioned that there's ONE short battle theme for regular battles in the whole game as well as the other, copious shortcomings.
