is there a way to convert USB in to SATA ? If so, these would make cheap HDD

$27.99 +$32.00 +N ---- $99.00 Solve for N Anyways these perform very poorly if you want to use it as a SATA drive like the poster above asked about. According to one review the read speeds were ok at 18MBps but the write speeds were less than 5MBps. An amazon reviewer said it was ok for reading and also for writing small files but if you're more interested in a drive that can read/write large files you should look elsewhere. Newegg reviews on this drive report 12-18MB/s reads, 6MB/s writes...so be aware it will take a while to fill it up.
