Amazon has it also but shipping is about a fifty cents cheaper. To buy through tiger direct or go through amazon that goes through tiger.... That is the question... I'd guess if there were any issues amazon would be easier to resolve with?

Sorry for TC, but, at this point, Tiger Direct would have to pay me to use anything with Windows 8 and this resolution. I've got a 4 year old dell with 1366 x 768 resolution and its like looking through a screen door. Unless you absolutely need a laptop, the slickest deal is to stick with what you got until PC vendors and Microsoft get their acts together.

This thing weighs 5.5 lbs. I promise you as someone who has owned expensive lightweight ultrabooks and also heavier laptops the weight doesn't make as much of a difference as you would think. A good keyboard and trackpad with separate mouse click buttons makes a huge difference. I chose a series 5 Samsung over a $1000.00 ultrabook because of this. |
