I have the WD20EARX 2 TB model and it's been great so far. Did have an issue where it was constantly getting unplugged and thought I had a bad cable. But once I swapped it to a SATA III port didnt have any of those issues.
I wonder if the only difference between mine and this one on sale is intellipower. I've read intellipower is a nuisance. |

I have read that intellipower is also a nuisance. Also, the -green- is pretty much just marketing. |

I have one of these, refurbed even. Drive is quiet and fast enough for Windows 8.
boot up time in Windows 8 is about 10 seconds... |
