Washer and dryer
I'm in the process of purchasing my first house and I'm going to need a washer and dryer. I usually see lowes and Home Depot offer 10% off appliances. Do any better deals pop up at all? I'm looking for your standard washer/dryer, nothing crazy special. Thanks, Jon

I know this might sound unhelpful, but consider hitting up craigslist or other sites. People are frequently getting rid of perfectly good dishwashers for a fraction of their value. That's where we got ours!
As for worrying about the used, look at it this way - if you get a $500 washer and dryer for $100, even if it only lasts 1/5th of the time (and it should be fine, inspect it first, ask to run a load before you hand cash over) you break even. Anything over that is profit! Best of luck! |
