I don't believe it came with a swivel socket, but those are only $5 and i would highly recommend one for those tight places where you need to ratchet but just don't have enough room.
I bought a set of the GearWrench flexhead ratcheting wrenches this weekend for $40. Would have saved me over an hour replacing my engine mount instead of having to re-place and fasten 2 inches at a time.

It would have been nearly impossible for me to get to one bolt without the flexhead. I'd say it's a good investment that will save your ass one day. No way I was going to fit a ratchet in that spot.

Thanks Corwin76. This is one of the better sets.

I picked up the Craftsman 49 pc. 3/8-in. Drive Socket Module [sears.com] after missing the November $49 deal, and have to say they're beautiful, both to use and to look at. All 6-point sockets. Had to backfill some 1/4" and now wonder what I'm going to use for a case. (This [sears.com] is available, but doesn't look ideal - it's an awkward size. Sears is missing out by not offering a really good universal case)

Why? any issues getting points
notice at checkout it say 750 points at check out. the $10 will not come. you will have to contact them and you might get it so its ymmv. i have been turn down before so that's why. they simply just ignored my emails now.

its out of stock now so who ever bought it, did you have your $10 in points yet?

Any thoughts on this set compared to these other sets on sale right now?

82-piece [sears.com]
65-piece [sears.com]

Beyond the price difference, which of these would be best for someone that doesn't do a lot of automotive work, but needs to have the right tools around the house for the occasional home use? I don't have a lot of tools right now, just the small random screwdriver sets and small socket sets. I was thinking that the 154pc might be good just to get everything in one shot.

I now assume it maybe when order ships, but would think it should apply when purchase points are issued (instant)

If I need to contact these clowns, how would I prove I used it?

It seems like the last time I used that code the points were credited fairly quickly, but I think I've found an answer. This is from the EARN10 coupon details from the very bottom of their main page: http://www.sears.com/

"Offer valid 2/14-2/21. Points will be credited to your SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS_ account on 2/24. Redeemable in-store or online 2/24-3/2. Purchase requirement calculated before taxes and after other discounts have been applied and must be made in a single transation. Members earn Points on Qualifying Purchases, excluding sales taxes and other fees. Subject to full program terms available at shopyourwayrewards.com. Must remain opted-in to receiving promotional emails from SHOP YOUR WAY REWARDS_ to earn Bonus Points. Bonus Points are inclusive of, and not in addition to, any Base Points earned on Qualifying Purchases. When bonus Point offers are combined, total Points earned will be less than the combined Point totals for each individual offer. See www.shopyourway.com for details."

So with any luck you'll get them on the 24th. I didn't realize they were doing this or I would have mentioned it in the OP. If you don't get them on the 24th I'd live chat with a CSR. I made a different purchase from them a couple of weeks ago, but was unable to add the code during the checkout process. I completed the purchase anyhow and then live chatted with a CSR and they forwarded it to their escalations department. A little while after that they refunded me $10, rather than giving me the $10 in points. In that case I didn't even apply the coupon, so if there is a problem, hopefully you should be in better shape since you actually applied it. I'm not sure if they can pull up the coupons you applied when they check your order or not. EARN10 has been a good code to use, myself and others have stacked it with others in the past, I always check to see if a coupon will apply in the cart before posting a deal, but I'm sorry I failed to notice they changed when points would be credited. Since you and others are still waiting on your points I'm going to update the op to reflect this.
