is Vanquish available for download now, I check a few hours ago and it stated it was $19.99 still.

Today being the 19th, when is this supposed to go live?

Nothing yet, they usually update during the afternoon. Maybe they are waiting until after the annoucement tomorrow?

looked last night, wasn't live, will check again tonight since it seems someone has now had succeess

The *prices* were live last night, but there was no splash page indicating as such. I downloaded stuff around 10pm.

I'm pretty positive the prices update at 8pm EST every Tuesday, but it takes a little while for the splash to appear.

i have a ps3, but i dont really use it because I also got an ipad and a lot of the games i like are free to play, but in game content can be bought to progress further. My point really is if sony doesn't start making more things free instead of subscriptions, people like me won't buy a gaming console no more. More and more people are moving towards freemium games instead of subscriptions. Look at your app store, the top 10 grossing games are freemium games, several years ago this was not the case.

If you're fine with the quality of games on an iPad, you're obviously not the target for game consoles. You wouldn't want to play the kind of games available on a tablet on a game console anyway.

If you want freemium games on a home console, your best option is going to be the OUYA.
