The good news is that they are fulfilled by 4MyRebate. The bad news is that I have a feeling they are like the Nuance rebates which probably take a good 3 months + to arrive. If you are going to do these, I strongly recommend using a prepaid card for the activation, instead of virtual CC #'s. Definitely DO NOT use Discover Secure Online Account #'s, as the merchant has the ability to add additional charges on those Card #'s. Provided they only charge a $1 pre-authorization or something like that... I would wait for that to fall off and then clear the balance of the prepaid card so they have no ability to charge you. |

4myrebate has denied the rebate saying the "UPC missing". I have taped the UPC to the registration form. They removed the UPC from the registration form and scanned the documents which is clearly visible. I have the scanned copy for my records. Cant believe that they removed the UPC and say "Missing UPC". I am losing $120 here..
 Any suggestions?? |

I wouldn't do another Total Defense activation rebate (chasing after the rebate was a hassle and they charged my credit card for a 2nd year's subscription even though I had cancelled the subscription in the first few months of year 1). Has anyone who has done one these TD activation rebates before been able to use a pre-paid card to set up the auto-subscription and, if so, did you need to have a minimum amount of funds on the card (enough to cover the renewal subscription fees or some lesser amount)? They didn't let me use any of my pre-paid cards (I tried three different cards -- one w/ a zero balance, a $5 balance and a $20 balance). I ended up having to use a credit card to complete the set up.
