Canon EF 75-300mm f/4-5.6 III for $100 or Canon EF-S 55-250mm f/4-5.6 IS $149

FYI - the 75-300mm lens doesn't have image stabilization.

I already have the 55-250mm... will the 75-300mm do me any more good esp without the IS for indoor low-light portraits or videos?

I know this is a whole another genre but I also enjoy action photography, in case its much better for that, bec this seems like a great price.

Other people in other threads have stated that the 75-300 is junk and it is not worth having (some stated 'even for free') because it will cost you good pictures.

What I have read, on here, is 18-55mm, 22-250mm, and 50mm are the 3 basic lenses to get.

I wound up getting the T3i after the holidays, when the lenses were still on discount. I could get either the 55-250 IS for $150 after discount, or the 75-300 for $9. I chose the $9 because I didn't want to spend another $150. So far, it's an incredibly useless lens for me unless I'm doing still video, which is rare.

you get these for this price if you buy the camera. If bundle it with the camera the price that B&H offers is way better
