Hotel room in Reno for 6 people, help!

Circus Circus Reno has rooms for like $30, you could easily swing two of those for less than a suite at like homewood suites or embassy or residence inn.

It will be during spring break, and on a weekend night. Dates would be March 22nd and March 29th.

Why are you taking kids to Vegas? I have never understood this.

Because there are things to do for kids. The pools, the rollercoasters, the arcades, many restaurants, buffets, checking out the west rim...shall I continue?

Because my parents have a house there and we are going to visit them...not that I should have to explain myself.

We went to Vegas with my inlaws last year and we brought my 2 year old with us. Vegas is actually more family friendly than most people think. He loved the pool, the lights, and the arcades there. Vegas is more than gambling, shows, strippers, hookers . . . err I mean escorts.

^^ Indeed Vegas is more than gambling, strippers, etc, BUT those very things make up a HUGE chunk of what is going on in Vegas. You also have to consider the smoking, drinking, partying and tons of other things that go on on the strip, around the strip and in your own property that isnt family friendly.

Back to the topic....How old are the kids? Not to get too personal, but if they are old enough, I would just consider getting two rooms. Even for just one night.

You're going to have to get two rooms. Legally, because of fire codes and all that, you're very unlikely to find a room that will allow an occupancy of six or even have enough beds for six. Rooms in Reno are dirt cheap anyway.

why not just cop one room that has two beds, but don't declare that there's 6 of you? a lot of people do that to party at hotel rooms.
