If you see a really good deal buy now, think about it later!!!
there are people that lurk here all day buying just to resell.
make copies of your important store receipts as they fade after a couple of months.
Literally today I got my TWC internet service installed. 20Mbps, $44.95/mo with my own cable modem. I'm also changing over my land line as well, and porting my number. $20/mo for unlimited US calling. All with free install. I got my deal by calling an alternative TWC number: 1-877-824-7231. This is TWC, not some third party reseller.
I'm going to try and see if I can get the 100 GC that they offered on the main web site, but internet was $10/mo more. I'm not sure if I'll get a redemption code with my install...do you have to register beforehand?
I got the redemption email with the Visa code, so I should be good to go with the $100 promo plus $44.95 for 20Mb service.
So basically you get a $100 Visa Gift Card for switching to TWC for there internet. Thought this was a pretty slickdeal for those people still on the AT&T or Verizon DSL speed or people spending too much for their existing FiOS or U-Verse service.
This is YMMV so some places offer free installation and activation and pricing as well.
This is current pricing for Southern California.
TWC does not have contracts.
