Motherboard/CPU combo, best bang for buck at the top end
Looking for a close-to-top-of-the-line mobo & processor @ the best price possible. Think like 80% of best, or wherever more money spend gives diminishing returns in speed. Basically if going from $250 to $300 increases power by 20%, yes yes, but if $300-$400 only gives 5% it's a no go...yeah you guys know how this works. Let me know if you have ideas.Looking for a case too, missed out on that sweet white case on here a few weeks ago, need a deal that good (If I miss a deal I try to wait till I can beat it) Thanks! |

Microcenter has the 3570K with $50 (maybe $40) off a compatible motherboard...or the 3770K for $230.
If you refer to your husband/wife as 'DH/DW', you're too old to be active on a forum.
If you ask for marriage advice on a(ny) forum, you should seriously reevaluate your life. If you don't know the difference between 'their', 'there', and 'they're', I automatically assume you have a mental disability (same goes for to/two/too and your/you're/yore). |

You will get the same speeds iof you overclock the i5 3570K then the 3770K. Microcenter does have the best price on CPU's right now.
