BR movies are usually 24 fps. This does not divide equally into 60 but it does into 120.

What this means is that on a 120hz panel you do not have to do 3:2 pulldown which can cause judder during panning.

Video games from consoles never go over 60 fps.

That said some people really like the faked frames to make 120hz. If so that's somethign to consider.

I think it's pretty much accepted as fact LG 3D TVs are all half their rated hz... so the 120 is a 60hz panel.

That said I have the lm4700 and I have no problems with it for gaming or movies although I do miss the trumotion for bf3 as it's frame rate does suffer a bit and the lag introduced by the frame interpolation was worth it to me....

but after googling the coupon was supposed to expire on the 28th, can we chat with customer service?

uh im confused as why this is a slickdeal, you guys realize you can pick up the 55" 55lm4600 @ costco, for $699.99, which in turn your paying $150 for a sound bar......

or is it really slick for the 47"???
