Can't speak to the deal but if truecar.com says it is a good deal then you probably did alright.

That said, I never by new anymore for cars. The best deals can be had on 1 to 1.5 year old used cars sold by reputable dealers. A lot of times they are former rental cars with 12-18 K miles on them and go for third or more off the new price and still have the bulk of the manufacturer's warranty in place. From a value perspective, saving that much for one year or so less of service is well worth it.
