For those that might have concerns or had problems opening these newer ones with the child caps on them the 'mistake' I've found is trying to hold the bottle and push down/twist the cap. Just try holding the cap and push up/twist the bottle. Much easier for me that way. |

How wide is the bottle opening? Can I actually get the nozzle into it at the gas pump?

edit: I just measured my fuel bottle, it looks to be very close to an inch. I googled [answers.com], and came up with 13/16" outlet on the fuel nozzle, so it's up to you, do you think 3/16" will be enough to vent the air from the bottle? Last edited by jer-bear; 02-19-2013 at 12:09 PM.. |

I bought this a month ago for 19.95 or something. I'm using it for my firespinning fuel for when I backpack around the world.
Does anyone know airport policy for these? Empty and rinsed of course. |

If it smells, you will prob loose it. Just keep it clean, rinsed, and in checked baggage, should be ok. |

Hmmm. I wonder how is this much better than say a $6.99 aluminum "water" bottle w/the same type screw-in top available at TJ Maxx/Marshalls? Some of those have plastic screw-in tops that appear to be made of fuel-resistant material. Just sayin'...
