I am apprehensive of switching to a 3rd-party firmware since previous router/firmware combinations have thus far been unable to address my needs. I've got this router working and I am curious if anyone can help me with the built-in Bandwidth Control settings. I have posted a thread [tp-link.com] on tp-link's forum.

I noticed you are new to SD and I was about to ream you for not reading when I noticed that nowhere on the first page is there any mention of the stock firmware upgrade [tp-link.us]. Can someone make that happen (I don't know how)? It should probably be the first line of the Wiki with a link to it.
There's an edit button on the wiki box, you can edit it.

Sorry, can't help but the stock controls are not great.

Given the small capacity of space that the router has, should anyone want to expand their router with a USB flash drive, this guide did it for me: http://klseet.com/index.php/tl-mr...ap-extroot

Note that it's now a manufacturer's rebate, not a newegg rebate.
Had bad experience with TP Link as rebate gift card never came when i purchased N750 router from new egg.

Rebate arrived yesterday. It's in a plain white envelope - easy to discard, so be careful.
