As for the $10 NewEgg gift card and whether it expires:
Apparently there are at least 4 different types of gift cards, each with a different expiry date. I believe this $10 gift card is the PROMOTIONAL one, which according to NewEgg expires after a year. "Gift Cards do not expire." "A PROMOTIONAL GIFT CARD EXPIRES ONE (1) YEAR AFTER IT IS ISSUED. " "A Store Credit Gift Card does not expire. " "A CUSTOMER CARE GIFT CARD EXPIRES NINETY (90) DAYS AFTER IT IS ISSUED." |

Tried all that as well. but I figure if it doesn't work out, with shoprunner you could always just return it if you worry you won't get the rebate. Personally I like McAfee..hasn't let me down...yet? so good deal for me if rebate goes through. |

Mcafee rebate are risky. I have submitted my rebate in Aug 2011 and still have not received. I had chat with CS and he said, they have not received it. liars like their boss.
