Great price for probably one of the best mic ever made.

ive gone through several of these, they are fantastic, HOWEVER, after about a year, you'll notice the left button seems to take get a loose spotty connection (which is really evident when trying to click drag - your items will keep dropping). If you search logitech's forums you'l see its a common problem. I submitted a support ticket on the last instance and they sent a replacement almost immediately. the replacement is beginning to show the same exact problem. Still my fav mouse though, despite the short lifespan

Both are good mice (which I own and use regularly). If I were to get one for another computer though, I'd probably go with the G500 since I prefer the laser to the optical since sometimes I don't use it on the best surfaces and the laser seems to track alot better. Also I'm a fan of the braided cable.

Same here, it just doesn't get better than this mouse. I have the perfect weight with the added weight system. The super scrolling is amazing on large web pages. I have the perfect sensitivity set on this mouse too. If I lost those mouse settings I'd seriously be pissed off. I can click things faster than I could with a darn touchscreen.

I suspect these are A) Frivolous spenders or B)Hard-Core gamers that do not want to get used to a new mouse.

I will always trust Logitech's gaming mice. Razer... Steelseries... No need. Logitech Mouse FTW. Thumbs up.

Great mouse... though my left mouse button eventually started to "double-click" but Logitech sent me a new replacement. I use it all day as a software engineer.

Got this mouse year or so ago, absolutely love it. Customizable DPI settings, switch on the fly from up to 5 of them, all stored in the mouse's internal memory with Logitech's software. Not to mention the weight system.

Only issue I've had is that the scroll wheel is a bit loose (even when locked, not free-wheeling) compared to the mouse I replaced, the MX518.

Interesting. I'm using the MX518 right now and just purchased this. Sure I'll get used to it.

Should I get this or Apple Magic Mouse?

I have the G400 Logitech Gaming Mouse and its meant for palm grippers. I finger tip/claw grip this mouse and planning to return it for a CM Storm Spawn but then the 1 year warranty... dont know
