I don't remember if I got it around black friday 2009 or 2010. It has been at least 2 years, maybe 3, but the battery still seems fine. I purchased a few at the time for my fiance and family members, everyone keeps it stored in the car, and nobody has had issues. I also use mine at least once a month.

That is not a slick deal. But, if they throw in blinker fluid, then I would say go for it. I would call first to check.

Is this usable if I have nitrogen in my tires...?

Two days ago I was searching for a smartphone car mount and the exact mount I was looking to buy appeared on slickdeals. Now I've been searching for a tire pressure gauge and am welcomed to this front page deal this morning! hah! It's as if Slickdeals is READING MY MIND MAAAAAAN..... I'm freaked out MAAAAAANNNN!!!!

Those are two fairly random items so I got a nice little chuckle when I saw this thing on the front page. Perfect timing!

Almost all tire pressure gauges seem to have pretty mixed reviews. It feels like an item that everybody will find some fault with. But $12 even after taxes is nice. I bought 2 and will gift one to my father.

For the price, it's a great buy. A lot better than other digital gauges I have tried and easier to use than the old school manual stick gauges. The only ones that I have found are better are the professional/race level gauges, but nobody here wants to spend $50, 100, or more to measure their air pressure.

If you live in an area that experiences a cold winter, and you keep this in your car, it is best to warm it up in your pocket for a few minutes before using. Then your battery will last longer.

I bought this a couple months ago for the same price but find it very difficult to use. I have to unscrew the metal head piece to be able to use it. Otherwise, it's almost impossible to fit the stem into the metal piece. Anyone experiencing the same???
