Sold Out!
You think they would expect an onslaught at $100.But it seams they are already sold out. If you already ordered don't cancel. Last time around orders were eventually fulfilled (took about a week) Some even got a comparable model when these were gone. Response from customer service. Thanks for the email, unfortunately we are out of stock of these projectors and are trying to have them removed from the webstore. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused. Please feel free to contact us with anything else you may need. Thanks and have a great day, Kenyata Peters Inside Sales Logical Choice Technologies 800-730-5644 x2703 770-688-1422 fax Inside.Sales@logicalchoice.com |

Couldn't get my order to work. Wouldn't send me an email. I called and the rep said they don't even know how that got back on the website because they don't have any. Which is obviously not true since some of you ordered this time around. Don't know why she would be deceptive like that.
She asked, Did I get an email or something. Where did you hear about this? I said, Um, Here's the part of your website I went to.

I got two of these new from the past eBay deal. They were $100 a pop, arrived brand new (with UK power cords), 1080i compatible HDMI input, and work fine. Power cord input is a standard mickey mouse type cord, so no biggie there, I didn't complain as I have a box full of them.
Performance is ok. The last projector I had was a $1,000 inFocus X1 and from my memory, this projector is just as bright but has a poorer contrast ratio. I would not plan on using it in anything other than a dark room, and it is easily outperformed by any sort of modern ~$500 home theater projector. It is also huge, bright orange, and the fan is loud. The speakers in this model are not good. The higher end model has a built in DVD player and better speakers that would do in a pinch. But the speakers in this one are like a laptop. You can hear the movie but it is not how you'd want to watch it. Having said that, it was only $100, and it's a real projector with real inputs. Not one of the dim, SD only led or light bulb driven junkboxes you get for $100 elsewhere. Not a $100 craigslist projector with no bulb or bad inputs. As an adult with real money I would spend (a lot) more to get a much better projector for a better quality setup. But if I wanted to setup a kids movie room, or was still in college or wanting to setup something cheap in an apartment or whatever, I'd be all over this. As it stands one went in my basement and one went as a housewarming gift to my nephew. Even considering a $60 new bulb you'd be pretty well off. Oh, and the short throw is no joke. The thing will throw a ~100" image from a few feet away from the screen, which is very non-standard. Consider if that is OK in your setup. Would happily repeat the purchase. BTW if you have a microcenter by you they sell a ~100% 16:9 pull down screen for $70. Hard to beat even with DIY material costs. |

My assumption is that there were collected by a recycler who received a pallet of these guys for free, tested them, and is selling them for $100.The bulbs are used, but with replacement bulbs only $60, not a big deal. My concern is that they will have mechanical problems (mirrors off, calibration issues, over heating, etc) that were not discovered and I will have to return it. |
