I don't think that they sound THAT great. But, for the price I think that they are a great deal. I wish that they had a little more volume, but I bet years from now my ears will thank them that they don't get as loud as I'd like.
The most amazing (and weird) thing that I've noticed about them is that when sitting next to a jet engine on a plane, you can hear people speaking like they are whispering directly in your ear.Totally crazy! ---
