I used to have a pair of older ones that were marketed under the sony-ericcson partnership and they were horrible. The battery life is pretty bad. I was lucky if I got 3hrs from them and for some reason, that was only continuous play too. If I turned them off/on' i dont think I got 3hrs. Plus, it used some weird proprietary charger cable so I had to carry it with me everyday in case they died on my way to work. This way I could charge them in the office (I did not want to buy another charging cable since I couldn't use it for anything else).
Also, the sound was very low and since I use them during my commute on the subways, I could barely hear the music, even when on high.
Obviously, that was a difference pair, so might be a moot point here, but just sharing my experiences with a sony bluetooth headphones.
I've been using Jaybird Freedoms for a couple of years now - they sound great, stay in my ears well (well, well enough), and are guaranteed sweatproof (mine have stood the test of time). Now I'm itching to try Jaybird's BlueBuds.
