I did not say it's $20 more. I mean I'll pay a little more for faster shipping, I never deal with company that charge you before item ships (ncix does) & their return policy sux, plus ask customer to pay for insurance for shipping?
If you can wait 1 full week for shipping (maybe 2 weeks for to receive) I think you have patience for better card & better price from a better company.

Just an FYI - I purchased this late Tuesday night. I just received a shipping notice (no tracking number as of yet).

Yep same for me - got my tracking number and bundle code. Not that this is all big news to have a product that was in stock shipped to you, but I, like others, was told I was going to have to wait until March for their next shipment so I debated canceling the order. Luckily I didn't and magically it's been shipped so I'm pleased thus far that this has moved along just as I would have intended. No CS drama would have been nice though. The card better work too.

Still no shipping update or bundle code for me yet. It still says the card is 'in stock' on their website too. This waiting has been making me want to cancel for a $279 Sapphire 7950 3GB. Do you think I should wait for this 7870 to ship or spend the extra $90 on a 7950 @ NewEgg? Which is the better price point? 7950 is faster, +$90, but also has better games.

I got my card today. looks amazing but when running a stress test or game overheat and crashes within 10-30 secs. anyone else having this problem?

Nope. I ran a stress test for about an hour. No overheat, no crashes.

Probably got a bunk card.

yeah im going to RMA it and try a get a replacement. i wonder if i should do the rebate before or after. It might be past 25 days since purchase before it get it back
