Just ordered the card. Bundle was back for my order. Considering the benchmarks against the standard 7870 and even the 7950, I think this is a great deal. BTW it's $10 shipping and no tax outside CA.

Uh.. I'm not too sure they specified (I actually didn't activate it myself but someone else told me, and everyone else said this is what happened) in their email, but I would assume that the codes activate the game directly. Usually only store bought items would be tradeable and usually codes mean activating the game to your library. But not positive so you would need to just wait and see I think? Sorry!

Seeing's that I snagged the Myst from them last week I can reply .

NCIX.US send you a code a few days after (for me, my payment went through on a Wendesday, I had some weird issue with my card and I picked it up on Friday; code came that evening).

The code is NOT a steam key. It is a serial number we enter here :

AMD will send the Steam Key's for the games when they are available (since this promo came out BEFORE the games were released). I believe that's why they set it up this way this time.


The girl who I picked up the video card was looking at me like I was a fool. I had to have her confirm and re-affirm that they would send me a serial number since most free game bundles came with a coupon.

She gave me a stern:

"We will E-mail it to you". Imagine that in a female Ben Stein voice lol.

So, how does 'Back Order' work? It says to order it now, and they'll ship when its back in stock....however, they forgot to leave the 'Add to Shopping Cart' button. So how exactly do we order it now?

Quote from kevinh : It's not as fast. The Myst Edition is a neutered 7950. Mine hit @1275 at stock voltage but unfortunately, even at stock clocks, under load the thing was just WAY too loud. It was hitting 85 C. Even a stock Visiontek 7870 I am currently on is running at 65 C (unfortunately still too loud for me but WAY more quiet than the Myst).

I just installed the MYST edition last night and running Metro 2033 on very high settings i cant tell the difference between the new card and my old 5770 in terms of sound. Your card seems like there is something wrong.
