Xigmatek is even worse about rebates than Symantec.

A company that screws people out of rebates cannot be trusted to provide any reliable technology solution.

They increased the price by 1.99$ ? I ordered one yesterday for 7.51$ after coupon , tax included ...

I don't get why people thumbs down Xigmatek deal with no rebates involved. People get burned all the time by other companies, like Dell and Lenovo, and those deals aren't thumbs downed just because they involve Dell/Lenovo.

Merchant is Newegg, not Xigmatek.

Read top review of these (fans are only 45CFM). These were $7AC before they went OOS just yesterday. I suppose these are better than the CM 4in1 pack that are regularly $11.

There's a fundamental difference between reputable companies that have occasional rebate snafus, and companies like Xigmatek that have based their entire business model on screwing people out of rebates. Before Newegg finally shut down Xigamtek's rebate scam, the fulfillment rate for their rebates was close to 0%. Those scarce few who were lucky had to wait upwards 9 months and beyond to finally get their check, and had to repeatedly hound them via phone/email until they eventually gave in. Even then, many (most?) others who tried to follow up were repeatedly ignored until they gave up.

Even without a rebate, I would never give any money of this sad excuse of a company.

Xigmatek will honor their rebates if you call them. I waited a year before following up (life got busy) but they had me in the system and said my rebate got "hung up". I had the rebate within 3 days of calling. They are big sticklers about combining items so fyi.

Always received my rebates from them, although I certainly understand a lot of people didn't. You can't post a Xigmatek deal and expect not to get TD. Thats just the way it is always going to be.

Xigmatek doesn't process rebates. They only enter it into their system and "forgets" about them - until you call them up or send them like 5 emails.
