Xigmatek is the source. Xigmatek is dishonest. I try not to depend on blatantly dishonest companies' products in my computer systems.

There is no MIR involved with this deal. I don't think newegg will ever offer any rebates from Xigmatek ever again. Many Xigmatek products are good. Yes, I have fought twice for Xigmatek rebates and would not ever try for one again, but I won't ignore a good deal on their products because of that.

Almost pulled the trigger, but according to a Newegg post and the Xigmatek site, they're only 45.2 cfm which is only a bit better than the Kingwin fans (40cfm.)

The 75cfm xigmatek is actually model CFS-SXGJR-KU2. This is model CFS-SXGJR-KU3.

Seriously, Xigmatek is an absolutely horrible company. As others have already said, their whole business model used to revolve around offering cheap after rebate products that they never had any intention of remitting payment for. It's just hard to support a company like that.

I kinda second that...it took forever, and repeated calls after promised deadlines passed without action. Ultimately I got the rebate for a case.

and that is why I never go for the deals with rebates, unless if its cheap enough for me to be ok with not getting the rebate.

I read all the negatives about Xigmatek rebates before I bought a CPU cooler and the "nay sayers" were absolutely accurate about their rebate shenanigans.

I did eventually get the rebate in the end but it took numerous emails to finally get the rebate.

I wouldn't buy anything from Xigmatek via rebate again as a result - however, if you have the patience then yes it will probably work out OK for you.
