Extended TV warranty
I have the 2012 LG LM6700 tv and my warranty expires next month. Can anyone suggest a good extended tv warranty plan?

NEVER buy extended warranties on electronics. The math does not work. They're not worth the paper they're printed on. A TV is a rapidly depreciating product. It doesn't make financial sense to buy an extended warranty on such a product. Not to mention, redeeming an extended warranty is often very difficult to impossible. Consumer Reports has said for years that extended warranties on electronics (as well as appliances and other products) are not worth it - they don't make good financial sense.
Instead, save the money you would have put into extended warranties and pay for any repairs or replacements out of your own pocket. You'll save plenty of money over the years. Also, see if any of your credit cards offer an extended warranty feature if you use their card to buy the item. Some will double the manufacturer's warranty for up to a year for free just for simply using their card to make your purchase. Use wisely your power of choice.
