Will the U.S version which is this T-mobile version of this phone will get it as well at the same time?

So no one finds this auto 100% brightness upon reboot annoying? If anyone knows how to fix, please share.

Place the navigation panel/widget on your home screen. It has an option of keeping brightness at low/auto(or maybe your custom setting)/high.

*The panel has 4-5 options such as wifi on/off, sync on/off, gps on/off etc. Should be able to find it among the widgets that come pre-installed with the phone.

I believe that's the "power control" widget which is pretty much the same as the one you swipe down from the top of the screen for notifications, etc. They both have only low/mid/high but cannot be customized to say 60% for example. Even with that widget on the home screen, it still goes to max brightness when the phone is rebooted.

If your phone is rooted, there is actually an easier way to disable all the Tmo bloatware. It actually comes with a disable script build into the unit. Install SManager and then go to /system/etc. Look for the "disable_tmus_packages.sh" and then check the "su", "boot", "save" and "run". Reboot and it won't have any of the bloatware running.

These are what I have done with mine (step-by-step):
1. Mine comes with 10e firmware.
2. Tmobile refused to provide the unlock code even though we have the prepaid account for more then 2 years. I got the unlock code from ebay.. paid less then $3. The 1st think I do when I turn it on is to unlock it. Done
3. root it with Binary (v18) method
4. install Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper
5. install Busbybox
6. install Titanium backup
7. install SManager
8. upgrade the firmware (OTA) to 10g
9. re-install Voodoo OTA Rootkeeper
10. download the extsd2internalsd.bat and rename it to .sh (google it)
11. put an 16gb mSD in (before that, create an external_sd folder in it).
12. open SManager and navigate to system/etc
13. copy or move the "extsd2internalsd.sh" to the system/etc folder
14. highlighted it and then click: "su", "boot", "save" and "run"
15. repeat no.14 for the "disable_tmus_packages.sh" - this is the tmobile bloatware disable script that is build in in the unit.
16. reboot

f**k tmobile. there is no refilll card in the phone package as promised.
I contacted their customer service through the online chat, and they said I don't have any coupon code for their refill code, I was like "WTF??" and they gave me another phone number to ask about the refill code, what a hectic for the $50...

I am able to complete step 7. Decided to just disable OTA update notification by freezing in Titanium Backup for now and stay with 10e. Anyone have a link to download extsd2internalsd.bat or have a better method of using the microSD card?

Son of a B! Just bought this from BB...waited forever for the $50 to show back up on the T-Mobile site...Oh well a great phone and now a better deal than I got.
