Great phone for the price. And T-mobile's prepaid service is pretty good, especially if you use a fairly small amount of minutes.

Mrs. Swede wanted a basic Android smartphone. This fit the bill perfectly for the price. The built-in T-Mobile wifi calling app is rock solid, which was the only essential feature she needed (and something the Nexus 4 does not have) because she uses the phone for work.

The only real downside is that there is no ambient light sensor, so it's difficult to use it in bright sunlight unless you set the brightness to 100%.

She doesn't need to root or install a custom ROM on this, nor have a need for Jelly Bean, so it's a non-issue for me. I did get rid of the native launcher app and replaced it with Apex Launcher.

Can anyone recommend a good qwerty android phone for use with T-Mobile? It doesn't have to be T-Mobile branded, I don't mind edge speeds.

As far as I know they never show up in the cart but you should get it with the phone... it worked for me in the past orders

Just chatted with a rep, they said $50 will be sent with the phone.
