Women on online dating services get about 50 responses to your 1. So she is playing the field. Imagine answering 50 emails or more a day.

An acquaintance of mine went onto the dating service sites (all the major ones) for one reason and one reason only; sex. He found that talking nasty (not real bad but being very suggestive) to the girls was the way to get to what he wanted. When he was "nice" he got nothing at all. Usually not even a response. He slept with about 6 or 7 girls over a month period. His best week was 4 different girls. He kept the "best" ones on the hook and sees them when he needs to from time to time. It only took on average about 2 "real" dates to get to that point. Oh and he is married. Most didn't care.

Have her send you a picture dated with the days date to verify it is who she says it is. Secondly dont be to worried about one word texts...shes on a dating site for a reason, shes an awkward person. Shes probably like that turtle head you needed to push a little bit to get out. Give her some time to open up.

Well, we're still texting. I haven't asked her if she was interested in other guys on the site yet (awkward) but the conversation doesn't feel like its going very far. She has family issues....
