Thanks OP. I missed the woot desktop deal that was more powerful, and perhaps better choice. BUT this really is all my mom needs. Great PC for family room, general office use and Mom/dad to move off of windows XP. (Been keeping old XP Tower running built from scraps for mom since 2005)

PRO -
- Lower price shipped than parts alone.,
- Matte screen so less glare.
- Entire pc is in the screen, looks cleaner on desk.
- Windows 8 (It is a plus with slower processor, really. Yes, all will hate without touchscreen but it performs better, just load shell to hide the changes before giving in to Win 7 downgrade demands.
- Win 8 wants to never turn off. This is good for office workers but for Mom...who uses 1x per month, perhaps change the power button to turn off and not sleep ( clicking Choose what the power buttons do option in the Power Options window)

Neg
- No touch, smallish screen, Meh processor but dual core and I bet better than most need.

This time I will resit urge to wipe and load windows 7. I think below is good enough:
- Once Arrives I will remove Dell Crapware intended for touch, remove McAfee and using Win 8 bult-in Microsoft Security Essentials replacement. Load classice shell, Load auto backup crashplan and then image with acronis to internal HD and my usb I keep at my house. Test webcam and see if Ok. Moms Logitech HD Pro Webcam C910 is pretty awesome and may be worth keeping. Sortcut on desktop to MSN...pray I can try to load that crap software she insists on me paying extra for. Buy extra beer for the eventual support calls as she trys to find the power button on this thing. (beer helps ALL my remote support sessions!)

No, no downgrade, but I've got spare win7 licenses around I can put onto it.

Touch would be better because of Win8, but this still seems like a great price for an AIO. 1600x900 screen and easy to access/upgrade the memory and HD.

Yes, you can just wipe your system and install with you existing key.

Eh, all-in-ones are shitty in the fact that if your monitor decides to die, you're kinda screwed. So much easier to replace parts/upgrade in a tower too...

For 200 All-in-one? That is good price.

I am not going to buy it, BUT if I was I would replace the CPU with i3 or i5 one.
Based on the the specs it appears the board would take it.
Yes, it would be additional 100-150 into the system, but it is still cheaper that 450 with i3 CPU.
