Same here, I bought one and I don't know why
 This is absolutely a great deal.I almost lost the one I added to the cart, while I contemplated what to do with it if I bought it. Then the system freaked out on me, not recognizing my password which I knew I entered correctly. This is very easy to open up and upgrade stuff on. See the service manual here [ftp]. First thing will be to pop in a second SODIMM and clean OS on an SSD. 4GB will run just fine, but installing a second module will make it run dual channel which gives the onboard video a performance boost. PS I've been buying refurbished Dells for years. I've bought "previously new" that came beatup, and I've bought scratch & dent that came looking like new. So there's really no telling until you receive the thing. |

I am sorry but I am not able to find this model for the price OP has mentioned. anyone has a direct link? I know I need to use the coupon to get that price but before coupon the lowest I see is $420

you mean you paid only $290 for two units in total..or you got two units at $290 - 25% each or $430 or so in total? |

I got two for $290 each - 25% total came to $233 after tax. I just kept changing the sort by from Best to Low to High.. the $290s would show up every once in awhile.. but you have to be QUICK! Damn captcha... type fast, hit enter, and pray you did it right
