got rid of dev go keyboard just now (and its billion of helper apps) for this! pretty impressed once i set it up
I don't like the layout of the page that shows the numbers - wish there was a way to customize that. Last edited by asilva54; 02-20-2013 at 02:21 PM.. |

So you already have Swiftkey built into the stock keyboard with the added benefit of having the number keys in a separate row at the top. The only thing I don't like is that you can't tell it to insert the predicted text with a spacebar. You have to press the word you want it to put in. It doesn't allow you to change this behavior like you can in the actual Swiftkey app. Try it! You might like it

![]() Agreed on the num layout being awful. Perhaps if they centered the numbers instead of offset to the left, but even then... the traditional 0-9 along the top is what my fingers naturally drift towards. Last edited by rockdaboat17; 02-20-2013 at 02:42 PM.. |

Switched to this from Swype because it was irritating me. I just wish that the "flow" feature was better at detecting double letters, such as loose, food, etc. I tried the same method as you use for Swype, which is to basically draw a circle on the letter, but alas it usually requires a retry or manual typing. Also, doing words like "was" never seems to work easily because the letters are too close I guess and the word itself is short.
I'm sure it will get better, but I may have to go back to Swype because little things like that are slowing down my typing. |

I'm still on the fence, Tofu Vic |
