This keyboard is great. All the words that people mentioned "was" "soft" "swift" I don't have any issues with them by using flow.

Nah, it's simply not in there any longer. The FAQ says it's under Advanced > Typing Style, which no longer exists in the menu. Odd.

Thx, hopped on it after using the beta for Flow. Couldn't stand the delay/laggy stock keyboard on my GS3.

Don't Amazon android apps require you to have their App Store installed too? And once you uninstall that App Store, the apps stop working.

You are right. I bought it for my tablet and phone. Only thing I dont like about this keyboard is you have to go to a second screen to get the % key to show up. This is by far the best keyboard I have ever used for any of my android phones.

I've been using this on my LG Optimus L9 since yesterday evening and I love it so far. I'm already typing faster and it did a great job learning from my previous SMS and emails. I'm not using the Flow because I tend to get annoyed with those kind of keyboards, but I'm sure I'll give it a try a bit later -- just to see what the fuss is about.

I like swiftkey but I've gotten so used to the swype shortcuts that it's hard for me to move away from it

I just bought it after a few days with the trial version. I bought it via GooglePlay before I saw this post. Just curious.... if you buy it from Google it stays in your account thru any phone changes. Is that the same with AMazon?

I'd don't mind Amazon, and I'll certainly take advantage of the free apps that I like. What I don't care for is that the apps I secure from Amazon don't automatically update like the ones I purchase from Google. Be nice if they played better together. Once the purchase is made, be nice if the apps just updated to current version from either source. Unrealistic, I know.

Maybe someone will make an updater app someday that manages no matter where the purchase came from.

I've owned swift-key since its early days when it was the Amazon free app of the day, and later bought from play store when it was on sale for $0.10 so I could update quicker (Amazon is usually months behind on updates). I've also used Go keyboard, stock GS3, and nearly every other free keyboard available.

For word prediction and for touch typing, I think swiftkey is by far the best I have ever used. When I turn the phone landscape and actually type, this is awesome. However, I think the "flow" is far inferior to swype. As someone else pointed out, after each word you "flow", swiftkey offers the next word as a prediction, while swype looks at other options for the word you just swyped, allowing for much easier corrections. Also, swiftkey likes to put two words where I am only swyping one word.

So, if you plan to type more frequently, I think this keyboard is great. But if you are buying it for the flow, save the $2 and get the latest swype beta.
