Been using the beta on my Galaxy S3 for a couple of months (Task650's AOKP 4.2). I already bought Swiftkey a while ago, so I only had to redownload the updated app in Play Store. If you don't have it; get it! Best $2 you'll spend. Cheaper than a crappy hot dog at the gas station.

Same here. Haven't been able to find the difference(s) other than that the tablet version has the option for a split keyboard

I read that the phone version allows you to put the number keypad in the middle when you have it on split keyboard, but that the tablet version is just empty space.

Another possibly dumb question, but is there a fast way to switch keyboard layouts? Most keyboards I've used have a switch keyboard button built in, but I don't see it here. I use lastpass and their keyboard for logging in, so I'd rather not have to go back to "settings" every time.

Bought the phone version a while back during a 10 cent app sale. Loved it so much! Finally picked up the tablet version. If you use the phone version on a tablet, you won't be able to see what you type in landscape mode.

I have used this app for about 6 months now and it is excellent. Well worth the $3.99 price, $1.99 is a steal. Once you use this you will wonder why it took you so long to purchase it. Makes texting much faster and easier. I would definitely recommend it.

To give you an idea of just how great Flow is.. I checked my stats. Since I started using SwiftKey X (which then became 3) in July of 2011, I saved some 75,000 keystrokes (it tracks this info, if you weren't aware). Now, after just under 3 months of using Flow beta, I've saved my 50,000th keystroke. This is the future of typing!

Well, yes and no. SwiftKey for Google Play is now the stable release version, so you don't need to keep your beta version any longer. The Google Play version is the one which will receive the updates.

im guessing this is astronomically better then the default swipe typing with the default galaxy s3 kb?

So I've installed now.

Swiftkey asked if it wanted to import my speech from Facebook, Twitter, Sent messages, E-mail, and blogs. I selected the ones I wanted, and seriously it puts Swype to shame. Its the smartest, fastest, most intuitive touch keyboard I've ever saw.

And at $1.99, it's a steal.

What do you mean you can't see what you type in landscape mode? Do you mean word predictions?

Android 4.0 (Ice Cream Sandwich) and later versions have a built in "Choose Input Method" notification that appears in the notification drawer whenever you are typing. All you have to do is select the notification, and a dialog will appear that allows you to quickly switch keyboards.

If you don't have a device with Android 4.0 or newer, you should definitely get one

Curious about this myself...I wonder if there's a way to do a Tasker script so that if you are in a password field, it will switch to LastPass but otherwise switch back
