Galaxy 67NPH6DV6KXZ GeForce GTX 670 GC 2GB Video Card - 2GB, GDDR5 $330AR+sh @TigerDirect

Wished I saw this early, I bought a EVGA GTX 660 a week ago for 220, works fine. I dont think I need the extra processing power. Either way great deal

So, playing at 2560x1440 - should I get this or the HD 7970?

Best 'deal' I can find right now is the 7970 black edition for $400 at Newegg and Amazon. Newegg also has the Sapphire 100351SR card for $390. Are they worth the extra $50/60?

Great card, the 670, but with only 2GB of onboard you might notice lesser detail due to your higher than 1080 resolution. The 7970 has 3GB of onboard which should be better at higher res with upcoming games, and Bioshock/Crysis 3 for free at $350 for the 925MHz model at TD (AR).

If you go for a 7970 the price premium only makes sense if you get one with 6GB of VRAM. Otherwise just get a 7950 and OC it.

This is absolutely the lowest price I've ever seen this Galaxy 670 (and I've had my eye on it since launch due to the reputed low noise and solid performance) but now that it's within striking distance I'm torn - the 7950 not only seems to be a better value but a fundamentally stronger card. Decisions, decisions. However, if I were in the market for a 670 specifically I would pick this up without hesitation.

Im torn between this and the 7970 as well

339@ amazon + the 150$ in free to play game credit or
380$ ish for a 7970 with Crysis 3 and Bioshock infinite

there both good cards, the 7970 being ahead of the 670 in a lot of games and at higher resolutions its just hard to choose whats the better value.

The GTX Titan benchmarks are released tomorrow, but not the card itself, and not to the retail channel. This in no way infers a new line GPUs coming in March. I've been looking into GPUs for the last month or two, and a lot of people were saying to wait to buy because prices will go down in wake of new GPUs coming out soon. I think as early as March was used as a possible release time, but I guess it will be later on now. Maybe it's what people were thinking earlier in the year, I don't know what changed. But I've been waiting for the 600 series to go down in price...

Graphics cards have been in constant flux since the beginning. Look no further than the thread you've posted in: A GTX 670 for $330. Any given month you can find a card of interest on sale or rebate. Relax, breath, don't make it harder than it has to be.

Oh, I'm relaxed. Just asking a simple question. I was wondering if prices will get any lower than this for a 670. I checked some reviews and this one is OK, but not as good as other brands. I know prices fluctuate, but it seemed that this deal was good to some, not to others. Seeing if an expert could give some insight into whether prices will get better any time soon based on upcoming releases. Thanks for the tip, though.
